Celebrating & Remembering our Patron: Cde. Keorapetse ‘Bra Willie’ Kgositsile.
The late, Bra Willie hosted poetry workshops with the youth in 2016. The JBF theme then was, Youth Rising, and so our youth series – #PassOnTheWord – was born. This year marks the first of our annual JBF Open Mic Competition which will happen every year from now on. From the works performed on stage the Jozi Book Fair will chose & publish the best work in honour of Bra Willie.
