Join us next week Friday, the 3rd of February at 6:00pm for an evening celebrating Palestinian culture, poetry and music. With live performances by Haidar Eid (renowned Palestinian academic and musician) and South African social justice band, The Mavr!x, along with a talk by Rifka Al-Amya on her experience of being a woman and a mother living under occupation in Gaza and the importance of feminism including Palestine, poetry readings,  and a discussion on the importance of culture, art, and music in resistance and battling cultural appropriation; the evening is one not to miss.
